On Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, Mehdi Zareie’s loved ones met at the Chateau Elan tennis courts to unveil a bench dedicated to a great man. Those in attendance shared stories about Mehdi, and the ceremony served as a reminder of how many lives he touched.
The bench overlooks the tennis courts where Mehdi spent much of his time. His friends and family hope that those who visit the bench will be inspired to sit and reflect on his legacy, and that when they get up, they will leave with a smile that would make him proud. Human lives may be temporary, and Mehdi may no longer be with us physically, but there is no denying that his smile will always live on in the hearts of those who remember him.
